GMP Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious Cambridge college known for its high-quality food, historic setting, and strong community.

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy and professional kitchen team delivering cafeteria service, fine dining, conferences, and special events.

The Role

You will prepare and present high-quality dishes across a range of service styles, supporting daily operations and events in a fast-paced kitchen.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), working on a rota basis including evenings and alternate weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present dishes to a high standard
• Support daily catering and special events
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards
• Assist with menu development
• Work as part of a busy kitchen team
• Support stock control and kitchen organisation

About You

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Professional Cookery
• Experience in a professional kitchen
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Good understanding of food safety and allergens
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
• Calm and consistent under pressure
