Breakfast Chef

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum
Location: North Cotswolds
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (including weekends)
Shift Pattern: 06:00–14:00 or 09:00–17:00 (40 hour Contract)

About the Role

GMP Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Golf Club in the North Cotswolds for an experienced Breakfast Chef.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional kitchen team, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality breakfast service while supporting lunch and bar food operations. Working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, you will help provide an excellent dining experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes to a high standard.
• Lead and manage breakfast service efficiently.
• Ensure breakfast preparation and stock levels are maintained.
• Support the preparation and service of lunch and bar menu items.
• Cater for dietary requirements and allergen requests.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams.

About You

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role.
• Passion for producing quality food and delivering excellent service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
